NO, Roofle will have a professional Project Manager on site. You will receive this pre-roofing checklist beforehand to assure a smooth installation:

clearing your driveway before material delivery
moving personal belongings (i.e. grills, yard decorations) away from your house
picking up any dog droppings
keeping your pets inside (fences will need to remain open and accessible)
removing solar lights
if your garage is an open ceiling, removing or covering cars in your garage to avoid dust

How do I know that my roof is installed correctly?

Your new roof will be thoroughly inspected by your Project Manager. Our 25 point checklist will be shared with you before final payment. Additionally, Roofle has a third-party inspection guarantee. In most cases this will be your local building official. In the case that one is not available Roofle will hire a third party to assure your roof is installed perfectly.

It depends on your carrier, but typically your insurer won't hike your rate since weather damage isn't caused by your negligence. However, your rate may increase if you've filed multiple claims within the last three previous years. In some cases, your insurer may not approve your claim and still require you to replace your roof due to its condition before continuing to provide coverage.

Can I choose to install better materials than my insurance claim covers if I agree to assume the additional cost?

Yes, you can select a roofing product that costs more than what is covered by your insurance claim. Many homeowners choose to upgrade to an impact resistant asphalt shingle since they only have to pay their deductible plus the difference in cost. We call this extra cost the “Upgrade Cost.”

If you are confident there is sufficient damage to your roof to warrant filing a claim, it's not necessary to wait for a contractor to inspect the property beforehand. However, if possible it is highly suggested to have Roofle perform a proper inspection before the insurance inspector so you can share the findings and nothing is missed in his or her settlement offer.

Will Roofle negotiate with my insurance carrier on my behalf?

Actually, it is against the law in most states for a contractor to negotiate with an insurance company on behalf of a policyholder. However, we will make sure that all necessary repairs are considered.

How soon can I expect Roofle to perform the work after an insurance settlement is reached?

Once a claim is approved, we will work quickly with you to finalize the specifications and product selection. Next we place your material order and schedule our crew. The install should take one complete day in most cases. The entire process after settlement should take 2-3 weeks depending on weather.

Roofle’s storm specialists are trained to identify surface damage from severe weather that may not be apparent initially but will continue to deteriorate over time. These telltale signs of storm damage may not be visible from the ground. Homeowners expose themselves to unnecessary risk when they climb onto their roofs and attempt to photograph storm damage.

Supplemental is a settlement for additional work that is identified as required after the initial settlement agreement.

Will my insurance company pay me or my contractor? Will I get all the money up front or in stages?

The insurance company will pay you directly and in stages and you will be responsible for paying Roofle the deductible and balance plus any upgrades.

What does an insurance adjuster consider when pricing the payout for a claim? Does the age or condition of my surfaces affect the payout?

Accepted Answer

That depends. If you have full replacement value insurance the age of your materials will not matter. Your policy will cover labor and comparable new materials. Without it the adjuster will depreciate the value based on age and condition of the materials.

Another contractor said he would reimburse me for my deductible so the work costs me nothing. Will Roofle?

It is illegal for a contractor to reimburse a homeowner to offset the deductible on an insurance claim.

If only part of my roof is damaged will insurance pay to replace the entire area so it matches?

Accepted Answer

Most insurance policies stipulate that materials should reasonably match. If the existing product is no longer available or it is too worn to match new materials, you should push for total replacement.

What happens if additional damage is discovered after an insurance settlement is reached? What if materials cost more than expected?

Insurance companies understand that some conditions cannot be assessed until demolition. If additional damage is discovered, you can submit a claim for supplemental repairs.

You may apply for financing and elect to pay for your roof over time rather than using your insurance proceeds to cover the full cost of the roof all at once.

Where do I find my invoices and payment receipts?

At the start of your project, once the contract has been signed, an email with your invoice will be sent to the email address we have on file. Upon making a payment, a receipt will be sent to your email. You can also view your invoices and receipts within your Roofle Account from the My Billing tab.

How will I be charged for a change order?

If your roof requires an additional cost after signing your contract, such as new decking which can only be seen after the old roof has come off, we will send you a new agreement to cover the change order item(s). Once you have signed this, we will email your invoice for this additional charge.

When is my invoice due?

A fifty percent downpayment is required after signing your contract unless financing arrangements require project completion before issuing funding. The remaining balance of your invoice is due upon the completion of your roof installation or 14 days after the invoice has been generated. Invoices for change orders will be due upon receipt.

Who Can Become a Roofle Affiliate?

Roofle invites everyone to join the affiliate program, however, as an affiliate you must abide by our policies and will otherwise be removed from the program. This includes upfront disclosure every time you share an affiliate link or promote Roofle as a paid affiliate. Clear, conspicuous, and meaningful disclosures benefit advertisers and consumers. As with other affiliate programs, we encourage individuals with experience in marketing, design, development, or publishing who creates web hosting content to join. We welcome all websites in the home services industry niche and any business or agency with the ability to make direct referrals to their professional network.

That being said, we need to ensure the integrity of our brand stays intact. Our affiliate team manually reviews each affiliate's use of links and assets, as well as their website(s) and social profiles. There are some common reasons why we remove affiliates from the program:

Websites or social profiles without an affiliate disclosure;
Repeated use of irrelevant or low-quality content;
Websites under construction or unfinished;
Websites without their own domain name;
Websites that display lists of tools or services with no further information;
Websites or social profiles containing adult content, inappropriate content, or content regulated or illegal in any of the countries we operate in.

Sign in to your Roofle.com account and navigate to the Affiliate Program tab. In the Generate Link section, select Link and choose which Roofle feature page you'd like to link to, or paste any URL you’d like to link to from the Roofle website, and click "Generate". Once the link has been generated, you'll see the button change to "Share" which will allow you to copy and share the link via email, Facebook, or Pinterest. QR Codes can be generated the same way and give you an option to download the QR image once generated. Or you can choose one of our free creative assets to share with your affiliate link.

How Long Until My Affiliate Links Expire?

We offer a 90 day attribution window, meaning users will be tracked after clicking your affiliate link for 90 days. If we don't receive their contact info through Roofle.com within that 90 days, they will no longer be tracked as your referral and they will need to click one of your affiliate links again to start over the 90 day period.

How Much Commission Do I Get for Each Referred Customer?

For every referral, you earn 5% of the total sale amount up to $1000. This is calculated from the value of the customer's contract at the time your commission is rewarded. Additionally, you will earn an affiliate commission for all of your referral's deals within a year from the date the referral contact record is created. For instance, if your referral customer made their initial request on Roofle.com on Jan 1, 2022, you will be eligible for a commission on every contract your referral signs until Dec 31, 2022. However, commissions are not awarded until the referral's project is completed.

What Do the Different Sales Statuses Mean?

Sale Pending - Your contact has initiated a project by signing a contract with Roofle. However, the project needs to be complete before you're able to receive your affiliate commission
Earned - Your affiliate commission is ready for payout. Click the "Receive" button to initiate the transaction.
Paid - Your affiliate commission has been processed. Please allow up to 5 business days for the funds to hit your account.
Failed - The transaction failed, click "Receive" to try again.
Lost - A pending sale was canceled. Customers who cancel the project due to any reason, including being denied financing, will not qualify for an affiliate commission.

When Will I Get Paid?

Your Sales Reporting will show "Pending Sale" once a commission sale is pending. However, the referral project must be completed in order to qualify for the payout. Once the referral project is completed, you'll receive an email notification with the amount you've earned. Click the "Receive" button in your email or in your Customer Portal > Affiliate Program tab > Sales Reporting section to initiate your payout. If you have not already done so, you'll be prompted to connect your bank account via Stripe before the transaction can be initiated. Once a payout is initiated, it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to hit your account. Check the Sales Reporting to track all of affiliate commission transactions.

How Long Will I Get Commissions For My Referrals?

Once a referral contact has been created through one of your affiliate links, you'll receive a commission on any contracts signed within a year, but those signed contracts must become completed projects in order to qualify.

Is There An Alternative Payout Method to Stripe?

No, at this time Direct Deposit through Stripe Connect is the only payment method available to receive your commissions.

Am I Allowed to Run Paid Ads?

Affiliates cannot bid (in regards to online advertising, including but not limited to pay-per-click or pay-per-impression campaigns) on any keywords or phrases containing Roofle branded terms and cannot include Roofle’s affiliate links in paid ads that impersonate our brand. See our affiliate terms for more details.

We don’t have any objections if you run paid ads (without using Roofle branded terms) to drive traffic to a page on your site that contains a Roofle affiliate link.
